Pontiac Firebird Pro/Am source
This space is designed to once and for all reveal all the myths and legends of this exotic and rare Firebird.
The Pro/Am firebirds were customized by chatanooga customs (aka Choo Choo customs) who are no longer in business. To the best of my knowledge 500 Pro/Ams 500, Pro/Am IIs, and 500 Pro/Am IIIs were made, during 1987, 1989 and 1995 respectively. They were given custom cosmetic upgrades. They all came with T-Tops. They were also fully loaded with many features rivialing those found on the Trans/Ams of the time.
